Kool-Aid Playdough

Today we made KoolAid playdough and this was hands down my favorite recipe so far. It was really easy to make, has simple ingredients and was a great texture to play with.

3 cups flour
1/2 cups salt
2 Koolaide packages
2 cups boiling water
Mix dry ingredients together. Add boiling water.
Knead on floured surface.
Can add flour by sprinkles until desired consistency.
This playdough will last for a long time when stored correctly.
I divided the recipe in half and used two different types of Kool-aid so that we would have two different colors to play with.
We had a really great time with this one and thanks to the Kool-aid it smelt great. We had one grape and one cherry and Scarlett kept smelling them. This one will be great for when company is over because even if the colors get mixed together, it makes such a large amount it doesn't really matter. I think this batch would make a great gift sealed in cute containers or as a party favor for a kid's birthday party.
The dough is nice and springy, worked well with all the toys that we have and rolled out nice on the table for us to cut shapes out of it. I would highly recommend this recipe to any one and will definitely be making more batches with different colors and scents.
