Today we made salt playdough and this too required very basic ingredients. All you need is flour, salt, water and food coloring. This one is a bit different because it is meant for creating shapes that you can dry out and then let it harden.
1 cup water
1 cup salt
1/2 cup flour
Mix ingredients in pan.
Add food coloring. Stir on low heat.
When it thickens remove from heat.
Put on waxed paper or floured surface and roll out.
Cut out objects.
Air dry objects for a few days.
Store un-used portion in air-tight container.

I am here to provide you with handmade fashion items for you and the little ladies in your life. I find enjoyment in coordinating with my daughter Scarlett, who is the inspiration for my designs, and everything I make is with mother daughter relationships in mind. Everything will be available through my shop on Etsy which will launch May 1st, just in time for Mother's Day! But that's not where this blog ends, this will also be a place to find fun activities and crafts for you to do with your little munchkins and we will be kicking off our first week with playdough week. We will be trying out a different homemade playdough everyday and see which one we like best.
